This here's a recipe for unpleasantness.

“Not dead yet!”

Yeah, quickie overnight visit-- Got in yesterday morning, was in meetings all day until nearly ten at night and I'm flying out at noon, so that's why I didn't say anything. I seriously have to make a plan to visit NYC with just the express purpose of visiting NYistas with a side of visiting publishers and agent.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Rain should be gone in 2-3 hours, hopefully in time for lunch.

Me, I'm at home today, supposed doing my laundry and packing for the F2F.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

rain! Do.Not.Want.

I have an actual raincoat, but with carrying bags, I also had to use an umbrella today.

Of course today is the day I have an lunchtime appt far from the office.

I am not psychic. I cannot time travel. If something is that important, please do not wait 24 hours to tell us that you need it now.

information libertarian

I also reject today. First day back, still on painkillers, was hoping for a very quiet day. Except a tree fell on my coworkers house (like, seriously, in her baby's bedroom) so I am covering, and other coworker is mysteriously not here, and I have new meetings added, and my increasingly WTF period has resulted in pants-marking, which is like an embarrassing 14 year old sort of oops, and I just want a nap. Bah.

I'm going to ding the fashion industry on that one, too. I was crushed when H&M got rid of its plus-sized section.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
