I'll just jump in my time machine, go back to the twelfth century, and ask the vampires to postpone their ancient prophesy for a few days while you take in dinner and a show.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Announcement: I had a headache when I got home, so I went to sleep about 8:00 or a little before. Now I am awake again, and my headache is worse.

Analysis: This week can bite me.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

It was always Grandma [last name] and Granddad [last name] when I was a kid. My folks were Mom (or Mums) and Dad (or Daddy-o).

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Awesome!

Are any giant octopi threatening to destroy the city? Or befriending smart little girls who have no human friends?

This morning, I carried out the Evile Microwave What Tried To Kill Me to the garbagemen, some dead black popcorn (which still stinks like burnt plastic) still in it.

I made sure all the other appliances watched, because I want them to know what happens when they get uppity.

Coding and Sleeping

It was quite a weekend for our neighbors across the street. I still don't exactly how it works over there anyhow. The kids over there came over Saturday and ended up having to stay at our house for awhile since their mom was in a car accident and suffered a broken hip, arm, and sternum. My wife got a call from their 15 year old sister asking us to watch them since she was busy with a friend who was being arrested. Anyhow, eventually their step father / mom's boyfriend (not sure, we've hear the kids use both terms) did show up so someone was able to take care of them.

This week, those kids are with their aunt and the 15 year old sister is by herself since their mom won't be home for awhile. It sounds like the 15 year old takes care of the kids a lot of them time anyhow. Her little sister told our daughter that her big sister will like being by herself since it will give her lots of time to spend with her boyfriends.

Another interesting thing, whole new set of people over there and they are still flying the same confederate flag.

They're recycling! Eco-conscious confederates!
