Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Coding and Sleeping

It was quite a weekend for our neighbors across the street. I still don't exactly how it works over there anyhow. The kids over there came over Saturday and ended up having to stay at our house for awhile since their mom was in a car accident and suffered a broken hip, arm, and sternum. My wife got a call from their 15 year old sister asking us to watch them since she was busy with a friend who was being arrested. Anyhow, eventually their step father / mom's boyfriend (not sure, we've hear the kids use both terms) did show up so someone was able to take care of them.

This week, those kids are with their aunt and the 15 year old sister is by herself since their mom won't be home for awhile. It sounds like the 15 year old takes care of the kids a lot of them time anyhow. Her little sister told our daughter that her big sister will like being by herself since it will give her lots of time to spend with her boyfriends.

Another interesting thing, whole new set of people over there and they are still flying the same confederate flag.

They're recycling! Eco-conscious confederates!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I want to see giant octopi!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I forgot to mention that my uncle is going by Gunpa. Yes, as in gun.

eta - Gunpa is not married to Gigi. Different uncle.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I made sure all the other appliances watched, because I want them to know what happens when they get uppity.

You have to set an example.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm already thinking about lunch, and have a noon meeting. Should I go get lunch at 11:30, or track down a snack? Hmmm.

Bring lunch to your meeting. Preferably something messy, like ribs.

Yeah, that's a no-go. No food in the meeting!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

new note to myself on my desk: meditate on the positive, on accomplishments, on positive goals. Frame things in the positive. What you say and think about expands.

So rather than a list of the F-ups thus far today, here is what I am/have fixing/ed.

2 visitors from head office:
- got swipe cards activated that were not ready when they got here(request was in several days in advance)
- got desk set-up for one visitor both approved and in progress, as it was held up by secondary approver FOR NO GOOD REASON.
- logged helpdesk tix in both US and Ger for one visitor b/c he cannot access the internet from his laptop (known issue that no one let us know about and no one wants to take ownership) I will escalate.
