I'm guessing that it wasn't *mock* horror. Sedaris is a bit of a luddite.

Another cool thing about a toddlerpede as a horror movie monster is you could cut one in half, and the back half would just grow a new head and then you'd have two....
And all the while wriggling and Wriggling and WRIGGLING!!!!
Good thing the toddlerpede isn't wearing a gas-mask.
Damn, got beaten to it.
Do you have time to meet this week? I'm sorry I didn't get back to you, but I had a 2-year-old sort of weekend.
No worries, Kat. I leave on Thursday and have a busy couple of days ahead, but I could do coffee tomorrow afternoon if that would work.
And all the while wriggling and Wriggling and WRIGGLING!!!!
And the crying - EXACTLY like a real baby....
Tomorrow afternoon sounds great. I will not be at work (yippee!) and should be able to get to Pasadena by 4:30 or 5:00.
catching up on skippage:
ita, I've got all my digits crossed for you.
