Giles: I jump out of the circle, jump back in, and, and, shake my gourd. Buffy: Hey, I think I know this ritual. The ancient shamans were next called upon to do the Hokey-Pokey and to turn themselves around.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Spying on other people's grocery carts can be interesting. Today at Whole Foods, the guy at the next register had two huge cartons of rice milk, five coconuts, at least three bunches of bananas, two big containers of maple syrup, two gallons of olive oil, a big bag of lemons, and two pounds of butter. I was so intrigued, and puzzled.

So throwing a party with pina coladas and margaritas. Olive oil was on sale and the butter is for the strawberry shortcakes. Maple syrup is part of a marinade for everything he'll be grilling.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Okay, new-house photo here. Also pictures of the cats.

He was also wearing a tie-dye shirt and had scraggly waist-length hair.

Don't have permission! I'm sarameg on flickr too.

OK, I revise the booze. It's for some sort of hippy cleanse diet.

Well, the lemons and maple syrup work for Master Cleanse. Not sure where the bananas and coconut, olive oil, butter, and rice milk come in, though.

Sorry. I opened up the permissions and also friended you, sarameg.

You've got mega yard there! I'd be cowering in fear. I haven't even coped with my back postcard, just periodically yanking weeds and thinning things out. And I probably won't really plan for it until the new deck goes in because they have to pour for posts.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Hey, Kings is on NBC right now. I don't think I've seen this episode.

The yard isn't really that big, what you can't tell from the photo is how steeply it slopes off into ditch. It's big enough I ain't mowing it myself, and too small for fierce gardening. My "garden" is a series of wall-hugging flower beds. Being as it's a duplex, what would be my backyard is someone else's house. I consider it extra insulation.

What I truly love is, I'm on a mountain. You can see the tops of the neighbor houses in the background of the photo.
