I love the smell of desperate librarian in the morning.

Because books.

That ... does sound uncomfortable.

God, a chain restaurant in Times Square. I ... don't envy, msbelle.

“Not dead yet!”

God, a chain restaurant in Times Square.

On a Saturday night, no less.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

There are actual New Yorkers who go to that Olive Garden?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Yeah, I gotta say, this lady has traveled a lot and lived abroad more than once, but there is not a lot of sophistication.

Because books.

That's sad. I've found awesome little mom-and-pop restaurants off the beaten path, especially in the theater district.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

and now I want to go to St. Andrews and sit at the bar eating pub grub and drinking Belhaven and listening to live Scottish music.

Zenkitty, as part of the new homeowners, you must post picture!

Julie, sounds better than the jerky wedding party and I've never been to the place and don't drink beer.

Punishingly Intricate

We were at Honfest! Bob was like "I want to check out this local festival." I haven't been in a couple of years. It was fun! We found the bedside tables of our dreams for super cheap and had good food and beer and saw a bunch of people. Many of whom said "Bob? As in, Chicago Bob?!" hee!

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Just ran around in the rain trying to figure out where the DJ was plugged into so I could flip the right breaker to get the music back on, spent ten minutes thinking I'd locked my keys in the car, found my keys, and now I'm wet and freezing. 3 hours to go.

Man, if I didn't have to be back here tomorrow, I'm three minutes from a direct line to NYC and am so tempted to call up my girl and hop the train.

When my basement neighbor mentioned he was thinking of going (I'd forgotten it was this weekend) I remembered Bob had just arrived and was thinking it was perfect timing as an intro to your hood! B.neighbor had never been and said he was gonna get a beehive (he's got close cropped hair.) I told him to be sure to bowl for spam.
