The first of two wifes of Feodor Vassilyev, a peasant from Shuya, set the record for most children ever born with 69. She gave birth to 16 pairs of twins, seven sets of triplets and four sets of quadruplets between 1725 and 1765, in a total of 27 births. 67 of 69 children born survived infancy.

Frankly, that's amazing, especially the high infant survival rate.
