Oh, smacked in the noggin with a 2x4 wrapped in velvet. Yeah, that's what it felt like.

Liese, pretty much. I call him disaster/fail/hot mess/freakoid to his face. Part is kittenhood, part is him living up to his name.

I can hear him crying downstairs to go out. Which he hasn't had the chance in days.

OK, bed now.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That reminds me--I get to pick up Sophie again tomorrow!

That's all I got.

Well, that and Sunday = Vegas, Baby, Vegas!

Yay Sophie! Hope it goes well!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I also hope that Sophie's arrival goes well. And yeah, no puking is always a plus.

“Not dead yet!”

And Loki doesn't even have the excuse of being stoned like Sue's Clio does.

And yay, Sophie! No puking, Perkins.

hip deep in pie

I woke up this morning to find a bag of whole wheat couscous torn open and all over the floor. I don't know whether to blame the stoned cat or the cat obsessed with food. And couscous? seriously?

I keep checking Clio to see if the drugs have worn off and if she's uncomfortable. She seems fine. I think this may have been harder on me.

It usually is.

Loki is obsessed with knocking things over and/or opening them. I'm used to finding the small trashcans, boxes, etc. on their sides when I get home.

I'm not getting out of my morning meeting. Boo.
