The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That reminds me--I get to pick up Sophie again tomorrow!

Yay Sophie! Hope it goes well!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I also hope that Sophie's arrival goes well. And yeah, no puking is always a plus.

“Not dead yet!”

And Loki doesn't even have the excuse of being stoned like Sue's Clio does.

And yay, Sophie! No puking, Perkins.

hip deep in pie

I woke up this morning to find a bag of whole wheat couscous torn open and all over the floor. I don't know whether to blame the stoned cat or the cat obsessed with food. And couscous? seriously?

I keep checking Clio to see if the drugs have worn off and if she's uncomfortable. She seems fine. I think this may have been harder on me.

It usually is.

Loki is obsessed with knocking things over and/or opening them. I'm used to finding the small trashcans, boxes, etc. on their sides when I get home.

I'm not getting out of my morning meeting. Boo.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Spare Cat hasn't torn open her wound, even though I've caught her trying determinedly to reach it.

Intelligence in a cat is not a good thing, especially when it's accompanied by a big streak of stubborn.

So for the moment, she remains a donut head, with the life preserver e-collar in place.
