Sorry, Captain. I'm real sorry. I shoulda kept better care of her. Usually she lets me know when something's wrong. Maybe she did, I just wasn't paying attention...

Now tagless for your comfort.

Tommy, we have a $1000 limit on debit card transactions per day. It's a safety thing, which I discovered when I tried to buy furniture. Sucks that Apple ran it through twice. I hope they resolve it quickly.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I made it about 25 minutes on the stationary bike before I called it quits, which is 15 minutes longer than I thought I'd last. (In my defense, I then went to the grocery store for healthy food and carried a heavy bag for half a mile.) And I now have a scale. Baby steps are better than no steps, right?

I'm scheduled to give blood tomorrow. I've never done it before because of Red Cross restrictions which they've since relaxed.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

25 minutes is totally respectable! Especially with the other walking and stuff you do every day.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Baby steps are awesome!

I've been thinking about giving blood for a long time. I used to be too light to give, but it's been a long time since that's been the case. But I suck, because they always have trouble finding a vein for just samples, so I'm scared of giving.

Oh, yeah, I got told the other day that my veins are tiny. The ultrasound technician was very vehement about this.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Manager still hasn't called me. How long should I wait before I call them again?

Yeah, I think my bank has some sort of limit like that.

I obviously don't buy enough expensive stuff, as I didn't think of that when I tried to do it as a debit.

Call them again. This is your money.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I wouldn't wait at all. I'd sit on hold until the shit got taken care of.

Am on hold. Got a different person this time - he's getting a manager....

OK, he told me their finance company handles stuff like this, and that they could reverse the charge in 24 to 48 hours. Then I told him that if they faxed the info my bank wanted to their fraud dept., they could reverse the hold in six hours. So nya-nya on their finance department. (OK, I didn't say that part.)

Hopefully this will go better than the time Comcast charged me $3300 instead of $330 - they weren't able to reverse it, so I had to wait 5 business days for the hold for $3300 to drop off.
