The recruiter suggested that my biggest weakness involved an inability to balance work and home life. Slanting to work life, of course. This was based on my resume. I'm not going to say that, but I pray they don't ask me. I feel I will reply "How much I hate that question!"

That question is really the Kobayashi Maru of interviews, I could never think of a really good answer for it.
I would like to see someone answer the question with "That question is the Kobayashi Maru of interviews," just to see what happened.

As long as you're not being interviewed by Spock.
I usually try to be honest (I can get too focused on a task and making something perfect even if there isn't time/necessity for it to be) but quickly transition into talking about how I try to work around my "weakness" (by being very aware of project deadlines and working out what customer expectations are). So far that's worked okay I think. Who knows though, really?
I'm worried about my company changing our insurance this summer. If my gyno doesn't take it I'm going to FLIP OUT.

I don't think there is a good answer because it's a dumb question. It's just crappy interview filler.
Would Katie Roiphe condemn my Facebook photo of myself as a child?
Hey, cat people, I can't hope that my big cat has lost weight because he's been, like, chasing his tail more or something? It's probably some horrible expensive chronic condition that's causing the weight loss, right? He doesn't act sick, ftr, he's eating fine and not peeing on inappropriate things more than usual (like, he peed on a trashbag we left on the floor upstairs this weekend but that's his normal way).
I am so tired of spending money at the vet.
