If you take sexual advantage of her, you're going to burn in a very special level of hell. A level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I hope she remembers the little people!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

But sadly it is only a matter of minutes now before Jilli becomes a major media star and we won't have her to ourselves.

If it takes only minutes, then I'm going to be VERY ALARMED, because I'm sitting here in my jammies drinking tea.

(Pete's response was "You can't have her, she's mine.")

Always Anti-fascist!

Could I be your Johnny Drama, Jilli? Tell you vaguely pathetic writer stories and offer you supplements? Beg you to show my pages to your agent? What I might lack in opportunities, I make up for in devotion.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

(Pete's response was "You can't have her, she's mine.")

Lucky bastard!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I went from a '71 Nova to a '92 Cavalier to a '98 Monte Carlo. I'll bet the Cavalier is still running out there somewhere and the Nova was pretty (and beefy) enough that I'm sure some gearhead rebuilt the transmission and shows it off now and then. I expect the Monte Carlo to last until someone builds a car that I really want to buy. My money is on Honda to do that.

Allyson, when I voted you were in 3rd place.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Coding and Sleeping

In my adult life I have had a 1987 Subaru GL, 1985 Honda Civic Si, 1987 Ford Escort, 1994 Saturn SL, 1995 Ford Escort Wagon, 1992 Ford Tempo GL, 1992 Chevy S-10, 1999 Ford Taurus SE, 1998 Mecury Villager, 1994 Honda Civic DX, 2002 Ford Windstar, and 1999 Nissan Sentra GXE. Currently I'm driving that 1994 Honda Civic DX, it's an enormously fun car to drive and very cheap to own though it is not a good family car. My wife has the 1999 Nissan Sentra GXE which is also cheap to own. At some point we'll need a nicer vehicle as the kids get bigger, but we like both cars and we paid cash for both of them, so no car payments.
