I also want a netbook. A fact which my husband has steadfastly ignored since before Christmas, basically because he refuses to buy anything that's not made by Apple.
Hello, I am more tipsy than I've been in a long time, due to my neighbor serving mojitos while we watched our kids ride bikes. She said they had only one shot in them. I doubt it.
On the other hand, I kind of love my neighborhood, and it's too bad we have kids or I'd be playing Spock/Uhura with my husband.
I want a netbook. I WANTZ IT. Who wants to buy me one?
Which one are you interested in? I strongly suggest finding models to type on before getting one, if you are planning on writing with it. The 9" models are easier to find a purse that fits 'em, but my hands, though tiny, cramp up easily enough that I went with one that's in a 10" chassis.
I can't buy you one, but you can benefit from my exhaustive research that went into my decision to get a Asus Eee PC 904HA.

You've told him about the concept of running a Hackintosh on a netbook, right? I believe that the MSI Winds were very popular for that.

I would love to benefit from your exhaustive research, either here or in my LJ. I'm definitely leaning toward the 10" and a nice long battery life. (that's what she said.)

Cool. I mean, I had fantasies about this guy: [link] but it's not available in the states yet, and even when it is, it will probably be $$$, which is not what I want out of a netbook.
Right now, I'm getting really good life out of my 6 cell battery on the Asus. The Acer Aspire has a bad rep as far as battery life goes, plus the machine can apparently get borked badly when it runs out of battery.
Why the Asus over the Acer Aspire 10", Plei? I've been waffling among several models. I never would have thought HP, but I did try one last week and I really liked the keyboard.

Happy birthday, Gud!
Sometimes people need to be ridden!
That's what she said.

Giving or getting a hug from someone you love? Nothing better.
Good sex and good chocolate come to mind. But it depends on the mood.
The Brighton pier amusement arcade in chain form.
But with less variety, I think.
Do you hug them if it's been all of two hours since you last saw them? Because that's what I recall from school.
Were you in theatre?
Hee. Theater geeks and hugging and massages! Ah, I miss theater geek massages...
I, too, want a netbook. Am considering buying myself one as an early birthday present. Maybe a several-months-early birthday present...though honestly, it'd mostly be for hauling around on business travel, when I want to be able to use it for personal surfing instead of feeling vaguely guilty or weird about looking at stuff on the work 'puter. But the work 'puter has the cell card, see...
