Hey, I need hivemind advice. If someone were to be posting a video to YouTube and wanted to make sure it got a lot of hits, what day would be better for posting it? Friday or Monday?
I'd think Monday. Then you have a whole week of people flinging it from desk to desk. I know on the West Wing (can't say if this is true IRL) if they wanted to bury a story they'd release it on Friday.

Hmm. Although this release isn't a story exactly, it's a video that we'd like to see go viral. I don't know what the differences are, but I bet there are studies out there on how to run a viral marketing campaign.
Will Advil help?
It brings down swelling, so it might help, depending on what you've done. Naproxen I don't know much about, as it's a prescription-only drug over here, but I tend to start with things like Advil 'cause they can be surprisingly useful. As long as you check what can and can't be taken together, of course. I hope the back feels better soon! Back pain is a nightmare. I've finally shifted my latest bout, thanks to a good massage that got rid of the last of it, but it took a while.
my brother has bought me a massage for this weekend, because he is the awesome.
I'm having my birthday celebration this weekend at my parent's house. That should be nice. We had a little one last night at my in-laws, though I ended up cooking dinner and making the cake.

Heh. Smart people know they're smart. Plus, as my ex the medical student told me, "Most interesting people have egos."
(This came after me being mildly affronted when she noted I had an ego, and she waved it off.)
(Also, I realize her assertion might not meet with agreement here where high intellect and low self esteem often do a two-step. But she was in a top ten medical school with high achiever types.)
