Willow: Yes. Hi. You must be Angel's handsome, yet androgynous, son. Connor: It's Connor. Willow: And the sneer's genetic. Who knew?

Happy Birthday Sean!

Last night I dreamed I was in Peter Bjorn and John. I hardly know the band, and I have no idea what they look like. I have no idea what my subconscious was trying to tell me.

In university, I had a series of dreams about J. Mascis from Dinosaur Jr. based entirely on my friend raving about him and having never heard the band at all.

Glee made me lose my will to live.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I have no idea what my subconscious was trying to tell me.

More ABBA for you!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

TomW was telling me that he had a dream last night that he was on the Supreme Court. He had no idea what he was doing, so he was just following Ruth Bader Ginsburg's lead. Heh.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I know that the La Brea Tar Pits does find insects part and/or whole, so somebody, somewhere probably knows about Giant Sloth Ticks....

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Google sez:

No results found for "Giant Sloth Tick".

If a giant sloth tick sucks blood from a giant sloth in the forest, and Google doesn't hear it....

You aren't talking about Tino, are you?

I may begin calling this person Tino. But I tend to think of Tino as actively causig probelms. This DB allows problems to arise through passive agressive asshattery and general lazy-shit "not my job" attitude and my always favorite complete lack of communication or follow through on things he verbally commits to (nothing is EVER done in writing). He's a generally nice guy, which, I believe, is th only reason he still has a job.

Newt on Sotomayor:

"Imagine a judicial nominee said 'my experience as a white man makes me better than a Latina woman.' Wouldn't they have to withdraw? New racism is no better than old racism,"

Gingrich was referring to a comment Sotomayor made during remarks at the University of California, Berkeley's annual Judge Mario G. Olmos Law and Cultural Diversity Lecture.

"A wise Latina woman with the richness of her experience would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life," Sotomayor said.

That should play just awesome with the Hispanic community. Way the make the tent smaller Newt!
