ita, if you go to Dubai I want a full report. I have a weird fascination with Dubai.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

ION - did I mention here that mac's bus company is claiming a check of mine bounced? I am arguing with them, even though my bank shows it cleared and I have my statement to show that not only did it not bounce, but I had a balance of almost ten times the check amount still in the bank. I have had to print out my bank statement, black out all account info on it, for the bank account as well as accounts of bills I pay. I also have a copy of the cancelled check showing two stamps on the back.
Something shady is going on and I am stuck because I have paid through the end of June with these people.
If I had a dollar for every time my last name has been mispronounced (It's "pete-," not "pet-"), I'd probably have a down payment for a decent Buffista Island.
IOON, have I mentioned here that if mac runs out of his afterschool classroom one more time this school-year they will not let him attend there anymore? My closest back-up is a program run by the people who run the bus company.

The only way I could change my name to Canadianize it even more would be to add the e and let everyone pronounce it the way they do already.
I don't see how the bus company can win if you have the cancelled cheque, msbelle.
My dad has a second cousin named Lucian who moved from St. Pierre to Cape Cod when he was in his 20s. He's got the strangest French/American accent ever. He pronounces his name "Loo-shun", while we still all Frenchify it.

Do you mean he's supposed to walk, not run (I'm being way too literal), or that he does a whole going-over-the-prison-wall running *away* thing?
