I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

Garbage night is my nemesis. It's not that I mind taking out the trash, it's that Tuesday night (my current garbage night) is an unnatural night for taking out the trash. I never remember until I am going to bed and already in my jammies. Putting out the garbage in your jammies is particularly fun in winter.

Laundry. I like doing dishes.

Hung 2 shelves, three pictures and need to go buy screws for a couple other things. Big storm just moved in, but I'm going to the hardware store anyway. One more box emptied!

My favourite chore? Cleaning the bathroom. It's finite and give me a sense of accomplishment.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Oh my god. That's the #1 chore I loathe. All the ick and the hair and more ick. And the toilet.

Steph, I live alone, so all the ick and hair is mine own.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I would very much like to put up a bunch of clothes and clean up my room once we get home, but I'll be sitting with mac while he does homework instead. I used to not mind doing houseowrk when I could turn on some music and just do it uninterrupted.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Greetings from sunny Milpitas where we've been holed up in a hotel all weekend for a baseball tournament.

We're in the championship game at 2:30. Emmett hit a home run yesterday, but has merely been playing okay-to-good. His friend Jack made a jaw-dropping play in our semifinal game this morning. He threw somebody out at first from left field.

The batter hit a clean single (or so he thought) into the outfield, and was trotting to first and Jack (from medium depth) launched an incredible throw that beat the runner by a half step. It must've been 180 feet on the fly.

I'm glad Perkins the Cat is back and peeing all over everything. Glad that ita is properly coiffed and hope all the not-well people get better.

I've got to go check out. Wish us luck!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Yes, on handling the ick of dishes or bathroom cleaning. Rubber gloves help, but only some.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

My favourite chore? Cleaning the bathroom. It's finite and give me a sense of accomplishment.

I'll do your laundry and dishes if you'll clean my bathroom. And I'll do windows if you'll vacuum.
