At first, that sounded like what Amarna had last year, what with the misshapen kidney and elevated temp, so I was hoping that he'd recover as fast as Amarna did, but the enzymes being off as well as both kidneys suffering--I hope he'll be better soon!

When I was a kid, my dad used to drink clam juice. It comes bottled or at least used to. Bleargh.

There's also clamato, which is enough to make me believe that Dark Forces rule the world.
