"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I think this is what I get for having a nice day on Thursday. I'm why we can't have nice days.

MWAH Liese. You make me laugh.

Grace is going back to TK from the hospital (YAY!) Noah has a favor (BOO!) I am so tired and worn thin. Without actually being physically thin that is.

Glad Grace is going back to TK. What is it with this time of year and fevers? I swear, just about everyone I know with a kid is doing this dance right now.

I need second opinions on where to hang stuff. I've got this one big wall and lots of small stuff. I may ask a couple of friends in the hood (from work) over this weekend, because I really need another set of eyes (and arms to hold something up to the wall.)

Hee. Mwah backatcha.

I am so glad Gracie is out of the hospital, yay! Poor noodle Noah.

I wish I could remotely send you some rest, Kat. I know it's been so crazy for you. I wish things were easier.

Also, the baby pics are great! Supercute.

I love this tattoo: [link]

I'm sort of going through an obsession with maple seeds...you know, the little helicopter wings. I am currently wearing this: [link] necklace and I am thinking of making stationary with maple wings and this quote: Sine pennis volare haud facile est (it is hard, not impossible).

I grew up in a house that had 4 maple trees. One is the red maple I used to climb in (and flip out of). One is the tree you could see from my bedroom. One was a sugar maple we would tap on occasionally tap in the spring for maple sugar.

I miss maple trees.

You just may have solved a mystery, Kat! My tree (well, the city's) out front threw a bunch of those down on my car and porch roof. So I'm guessing it is a maple! I was wondering and A has been out of town so I haven't been able to ask her.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We call those Pinocchio noses in my family! Because you can open up the flat side and stick them on your nose.

We used to try to drop the seeds down in such a way as to make them spin in perfect spirals.

I get a 404 on that link...I'll have to take a picture. Too dark now.
