Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yay Burrell!

Why is it that crises always erupt going into holiday weekends when one's higher-ups are out of contact?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

YAY Burrell

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, excellent, Burrell! Glad you got the news before the long weekend, too.

msbelle, sorry to hear about the stressage. Is he still running a temp?

Kat, he definitely deserves to get in trouble. They allow phones into tests? We weren't even allowed programmable calcs because we could store text on them. I can't imagine whipping out a phone.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

ita, I gave him tylenol around 3:30, when it was 100.2 still, so I am not sure I'd get an accurate reading. also he is not too keen on me being near him now, so I'm waiting.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Great news, Burrell!

Bleah. I'm about to go home early, sickish. About 21 hours before Matilda and I get on a plane for Portland. DO NOT WANT.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yay Burrell!!

I am home, with nothing to do for the next 23 hours....

I think there will be sleep. And before that, napping.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

FEEL BETTER everyone!! Dag.

So I have 2 pillows in a pillowcase. Loki just climbed in between the two and curled up. He's not a small cat.

Kathy A - May 22, 2009 1:51:01 pm PDT #20841 of 30000
We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

So he's squished inside the pillowcase and pillows, like some cat filling in an Oreo cookie? Cute!!!

Amarna has decided to like the couch, I think. She's back to being curled up on it after spending most of the afternoon on the chair upon which I tossed the quilt that I had been using under the old couch's middle cushion.

Oh, and great no-cancer news, Burrell!!! Everyone else--feel better!

I'm being lazy and having some food delivered, jumbo shrimp, garlic bread, and a piece of chocolate cake for dessert. Oh, and an extra side of cole slaw for some semblance of something not fried or not sweet.
