Saturday: 8:00am Yoga
Do laundry and try to figure out how to pack for a week on a motorcycle
Get freaked out by how little we can actually bring with us
Garden
Go out to dinner and to movies
Sunday: Clean house really well, so it's perfect for when Alibelle comes to dogsit.
Watch DH, who loves this stuff, actually pack.
Get freaked out by having to change planes in Utah and having to take a tiny little airplane into Missoula
Monday: Leave for trip!
How things have changed. Six years ago when I was first querying agents, I sent hard copies of everything. Now, I experience surprise that there are a) agents who still want hard copy queries (REALLY?) and/or b) agents who want hard copies of manuscripts.
Off to make sure the printer has a fresh black ink cartridge.

I was in the hate camp on the Lady Gaga front, but then I saw her interviewed (briefly) on Ellen. She came across as very sweet and sincere and so I merely dislike her music/appearance now but don't hate her.
My office is closing at 3 today but I doubt I'll be able to leave early. Booooo.

If you are printing off stuff that big you gotta get yourself a laser printer. My laser printer was off the network for a little bit and the ink jet drove me nuts with the slowness.

I couldn't justify buying a tea machine. It didn't seem to make things much less complicated than boiling water in a kettle.
It's true. It doesn't. It does make a fantastic cuppa, though. And I can set the timer so it wakes me up with said fantastic cuppa. (It was a present. I wouldn't have bought it otherwise - but it is the best present I've had in years!)

I used to have a laser, but I needed to have a scanner and copier and copier as well and the all-in-ones with a laser and full color were way too freakin' expensive. Fact is, I print so rarely these days, it's not worth the expense to buy a laser. The HP I've got now suits my purposes, although, being me, now what I wish I had was 11 x 14 copy/printing/scanning capabilities, so perhaps that's next.
Dude - this island costs less than I paid for my apartment (and is conveniently offshore from the same much larger island where my family's summer cabins are). Want!!
