I happen to be very biteable, pal. I'm moist and delicious.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

My office is closing at 3 today but I doubt I'll be able to leave early. Booooo.

Off to make sure the printer has a fresh black ink cartridge.

If you are printing off stuff that big you gotta get yourself a laser printer. My laser printer was off the network for a little bit and the ink jet drove me nuts with the slowness.

That is Not! Fair! I can only assume Tino is behind this.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I couldn't justify buying a tea machine. It didn't seem to make things much less complicated than boiling water in a kettle.

It's true. It doesn't. It does make a fantastic cuppa, though. And I can set the timer so it wakes me up with said fantastic cuppa. (It was a present. I wouldn't have bought it otherwise - but it is the best present I've had in years!)

I used to have a laser, but I needed to have a scanner and copier and copier as well and the all-in-ones with a laser and full color were way too freakin' expensive. Fact is, I print so rarely these days, it's not worth the expense to buy a laser. The HP I've got now suits my purposes, although, being me, now what I wish I had was 11 x 14 copy/printing/scanning capabilities, so perhaps that's next.

Dude - this island costs less than I paid for my apartment (and is conveniently offshore from the same much larger island where my family's summer cabins are). Want!!

I think I found my One True House.

Except I can't afford it.

Crap.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I has a couch!!!!

And the guys took away the old one and put it in the dumpster (although I have to take out the cushions) for two $10 bills--totally worth it. My cat is currently freaked out and pissed off because I had shut her in the bedroom while they were delivering it.

Now I have to finish the cleaning I didn't do last night/this morning like I was going to.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yay couch!

Pretty dress, Calli.

That island sounds like a steal.

I need to get my patio ready for the official kickoff of Grilling Season.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Cool.

Perhaps not suitable to be Buffista Island, but maybe it could be a proto-Buffista-Island, until the real one is ready.

If I had a sailboat, I could sail up there whenever I had a week off....
