Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Amy, under settings, select the Account Settings. The Notifications tab lets you turn the notifications off and on for all the applications and messages.
My dad joined facebook and my mom has talked about it. I told them "buyer beware" but it's not like I put anything up on there they'd be shocked at anyway.
My back hurts from my massage today. owie but good. hope it is not so owie on Saturday. Also, that it doesn't rain. I think hopes of that are pretty dashed though. Still will be fun.
You're actually getting emails, as in sent to your email address? Or just notifications?

You guys are very patient with someone who was being an incredible ditz. Thank you!

Dude, I had not idea where the Birthdays went for weeks! Navigating Facebook lately feels like trying to find your way around your house blindfolded after someone has rearranged the furniture.
Go here for the Facebook privacy settings walk-through.
I've been through that before; it doesn't talk about how to limit who sees your status updates.
