GA: I can't believe they left it like that! Both George and Izzy on the verge of death, and we won't know until next season?

There's supposed to be enough security that you can lock them out of stuff, but I stopped paying attention to FB before I got the hang of it.
My parents read LJ, as does my sister, but it's simple enough there to lock them out of what they don't need to know.
Oh no. My father joined Facebook.
Limit what he can see. My dad's on Facebook and my mother totally uses his account too. They're 80!!! Fortunately, they're not very computer savvy.
I have not figured out how to block people from seeing your status -- someone told me it was possible but I am dubious.
Yeah, I guess I'll do that. Not that there's really anything on there I wouldn't want him to see -- I have too many coworkers on there for that.
I just got over being pleased with myself that I preemptively blocked my crazy ex-boss. Completely, I mean -- she shouldn't know that I'm on facebook at all.
Jon B. linked to a good privacy on FB site once...it might have been on FB. But I think the link was on my now-dead work computer.
I wanted to get an Orangina at lunch today, but then I looked at the ingredients, and it had high fructose corn syrup! When did that happen? I ended up getting iced green tea, because I forgot that I don't like green tea.
Go here for the Facebook privacy settings walk-through.
Does anyone know how to *not* get the emails that someone else has replied to a post you did? That sort of stuff annoys the hell out of me -- if they're not responding to my post, I don't need to know every time. I scoured the "notifications" page and couldn't find a way to stop those, though.
You're actually getting emails, as in sent to your email address? Or just notifications?
