Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I agree with the top one. The fact that they attended is covered by the word "participants." They participated.
Thank you for agreeing with me (the below is my boss's edit). Luckily she lets me pick and choose her edits and calls them "suggestions".
Goth kid - troubled kid. Yeah that is an important cliche to preserve.
Our forefathers left the Old Country and came here to found America because they were not allowed to oppress goths as they saw fit....
Rotten office fridge cleanup sends 7 to hospital
SAN JOSE, Calif. – An office worker cleaning a fridge full of rotten food created a smell so noxious that it sent seven co-workers to the hospital and made many others ill. Firefighters had to evacuate the AT&T building in downtown San Jose on Tuesday, after the flagrant fumes prompted someone to call 911. A hazmat team was called in.
What they found was an unplugged refrigerator that had been crammed with moldy food.
Authorities said an enterprising office worker had decided to clean it out, placing the food in a conference room while using two cleaning chemicals to scrub down the mess. The mixture of old lunches and disinfectant caused 28 people to need treatment for vomiting and nausea.
Authorities said the worker who cleaned the fridge didn't need treatment — she can't smell because of allergies.
Oopsie!
Does it help your feelings about Sally Forth to know that Francesco Marciuliano also does strips like this? And also this.
I love xkcd, but to me "classic" implies that, well, someone could read it in a few decades and still get the jokes without extensive footnotes. Wondermark & Dinosaur comics are excellent, too. And I don't think anyone has mentioned A Softer World, which seems a shame.
There's not much in syndicated strips to care about. I usually hate Get Fuzzy. Although not as much as I hate the hand-me-down strips. Oh, oh, and Brewster Rockit! I hate it the very most!
Edited because closing tags turns out to be important.

No, it doesn't make Sally Forth suck any less!
For Better or For Worse has become the worst comic out there.
I'm with Plei on this one. When Johnston decided to retire/end the story, she went utterly and completely freakin' Mary Sue with Elizabeth. The storyline with Michael selling his book also set my teeth on edge. It was a shame too, because in its day, it really tackled some amazing subject matter in a way that made sense.
I also hate Snuffy Smith.
My favorites still remain Doonesbury and Bloom County.
