Punishingly Intricate

Does it help your feelings about Sally Forth to know that Francesco Marciuliano also does strips like this? And also this.

No, it doesn't make Sally Forth suck any less!

“Not dead yet!”

For Better or For Worse has become the worst comic out there.

I'm with Plei on this one. When Johnston decided to retire/end the story, she went utterly and completely freakin' Mary Sue with Elizabeth. The storyline with Michael selling his book also set my teeth on edge. It was a shame too, because in its day, it really tackled some amazing subject matter in a way that made sense.

I also hate Snuffy Smith.

My favorites still remain Doonesbury and Bloom County.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

One of the biggest laughs I ever had was when KO read a Tom Tomorrow in his Ted Baxter/Billo voice, especially as it contained the line "And Keith Olbermann's penis is really, really tiny."(Which of course he took a moment to say "nah" to...guys)

OMG, Dave Ramsey was just talking about a BusinessWeek article about Social Security/Medicare that mentioned that the problems with these programs stem partly from the relatively low fertility rates experienced since the Baby Boom, when he paused to editorialize "I think that’s called abortion." I sincerely hope that within the hour someone calls him on that.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This jewelry is so pretty!

Delfina Delettrez Fendi (yes, of that Fendi) has a new line of to-die-for jewelry. This skeleton wrist jewelry was part of her debut at the Paris Fashion Show.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It looks like a mutant crab.

the fuck?!?

I know he gives great budgeting advice, but that is seriously out of line. how about birth control, or women taking more control over decisions about having children - Or how about, the problem with the programs being that they depended on an ever increasing pool of people or at least a constant one contributing, and that was a bad model.

I know! He so rarely talks about stuff like that I was really taken aback by the offhandness of the comment. Of course, he doesn't really believe in govt-run social security, so that was just one problem (for me) in the bigger point he was trying to make.

ION, I guess some people still like to kick it old-school when it comes to comics: Records broken at Tintin auction
