I like pancakes 'cause they're stackable. Ooo, and waffles 'cause you can put things in the little holes if you wanted to.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Sorry, Gud.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, wow, that enlighted designs, inc. is run by someone I know from college. I heard she was starting a business integrating clothing and leds a few years ago, that's great that she's found some success!

Sorry, Gud.

Not all that accounted for time is all bad time. In particular, playing games with the kids or reading to them is pretty good stuff. I have a pretty sweet job too even if there are periods that are less fun. It would be nice to have a 25 hour day though.

Hell, I'd love to spend a weekend with both your kids. They're awesome.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Let's slow the Earth's rotation!

Everybody, start moving stuff towards the equator.

Actually, humans have slowed the Earth's rotation in measurable ways, by damming rivers, causing water to accumulate in lakes relatively near the equator (like how an ice skater who's spinning in circles will spin slower if she extends her arms).

Or a job you could bike or walk to, I bet. Being able to walk to my job is my dream. That, if things go the way they seem to be going, will not happen any time soon (on the plus side, this means continued employment for me so yay).

You sound like you've got some pretty awesome kids yourself. Matilda is a cutie from the recent pictures I've seen.

lisah, I had success with using butter to coat pills for Bear. Cold butter, slice off thin sheets, wrap around pill. Put back in fridge to harden back up and then go for it. You can't dawdle with it in your fingers for long because it'll get too slippery, but it also means that the old dude has less of a chance to get a grip on it and spit it out.

sara, I haven't had a chance to say how happy I am for you with the house and the 'hood and neighbors!

That would be really sweet considering the real estate that is around my place of work. Unfortunately I'm stymied by the lack of ability to afford said real estate.

The vet tech suggested that too. I'll give it a try!
