She's terse. I can be terse. Once in flight school, I was laconic.

I joined one with a friend this year, but it hasn't started yet; the first pick-up is next week.

...I have to remember not to buy too many fruits & veggies this weekend.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I really wish I had a neighbor to split a share with -- I know it would be too much alone, and the logistics would be too much of a hassle with someone non-local, I think. I was pleased to see flyers for our local one up in Spanish the other week.

Now tagless for your comfort.

The one I'm looking at offers half shares.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I dislike Lady Gaga's name. All I see is gag.

All we hear is

Yeah, I think my one here didn't. Or it still seemed like potentially too much? I forget -- I didn't really look into it this year.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I did a CSA last year. The pickup was a pain, but I liked it. (I'm not doing it this year mostly because of the pickup being a pain -- it's at least a 20 minute walk each way, with no reasonable public transit.)

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm catching my friend's CSA while she's in Europe for three weeks. It'll be interesting to see how much I do something with and how much ends up composted (my friend mostly wanted to make sure the farmer didn't end up having to take her share back home again).

Huh. I was right: [link] So damned cool.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My mother gets hers delivered right to her door. It's pretty great.

How have I not come across that website before? It's full of information I need!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I bought shares in a CSA last summer and I'm glad I did it, but won't be joining this year - the same farm sells at our local greenmarket, and I think I can get a better value picking and choosing my own produce. (The CSA hauls were *very* heavy on the lettuce, and I really just can't eat that much green salad.)
