I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Sugar is food!

Matilda got a Playmobil set, and proceeded to use it in very strange ways

When the pirate boat started invading the circus, I knew it was a lost cause. Or the most awesome game ever.

Does a maraschino cherry count as my fruit intake for the day?

Only if you had 3-5.

Today was made of stupid.

So I came home and ripped out weeds and all sorts of spreading ivy things from my back plot, all the while thinking ratsratsrats. I have nothing against domesticated rats, but I have no desire to provide dens in my jungle for their outdoor city brethren.

Luckily, I found no rats.

You know what? I am not going to watch the NOVA on Shuttle disasters when a shuttle is up with astronauts I've met who are doing something that has direct impact on my job.

For all you food purists, my dinner has onions and celery and green beans. I might even have an apple.

I am making pork with prunes in the slow-cooker. I can't wait to get home.

I might even have an apple.

You could stuff that with maraschino cherries and bake it if you don't feel you've met your daily fruit requirement.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am having pizza, Nature's Perfect Food. Hilariously, the pizza store guy suggested that the white pie was for dieters. He said, I haven't seen you in a long time! I said, I try not to come in here. He said, What, are you dieting? I said, Sometimes.... Then he suggested the white pie.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Has anyone ever bought farm share in a Community Sponsored Agriculture program? I'm considering this one.

I think msbelle and maybe Jessica have.

Facebook just freaked me out. I was wondering earlier what ever happened to this one girl from high school. I knew she'd blow our hometown and have an interesting life. She found me on fb. And it looks like she does have an interesting life, jumping off a glacier in a bikini...

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I did. It was good because it forced veggie experimentation in my cooking. But at times it was also a PITA because of how we had to pick it up.
