"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I like Delta, but I'm sure familiarity is part of it. I've had more trouble on other airlines.

Well that's the ticket I got since it was cheapest non-stop.

Where should I get a hotel so we can get together either for late dinner on Friday or breakfast on Saturday?

Woot. New Megan McCafferty book in the works. This sounds like it could have be set at my school

Alessandra Balzer at Balzer & Bray/HarperCollins Children’s Books acquired World English rights to New York Times bestselling author Megan McCafferty’s new novel in a two-book deal from Heather Schroder at ICM. Bumped is a sharply funny and provocative dystopian novel set in a world where only teens are able to have babies, and are contracted by adults to carry them to term. Megan is best known for her Jessica Darling series, which started with Sloppy Firsts and most recently ended with Perfect Fifths.

Trust my rage

We have the Roomba 550? I think and love it. It is a real workhorse and we use it every day. Our floors are tile and we have two dogs, one of whom sheds a ton. I can't imagine living without it. (ok, that's hyperbole). The dogs don't mind it but Frisco is scared/fascinated by it. He walks over to it, points, says " 'ba" , almost touches the button, and then runs away.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why is there a Canada tourism ad showing an iceberg disintegrating? I don't want to think about global warming on vacation. Unless it's bettering my tan, of course.

I had good news/bad news for my migraine specialist today. Good days are up 400% (to about a week), but the bad days are worse. It's always something, it seems.

I'm glad you are getting more good days, unhappy that the bad are even worse.

A neighbor is grilling. I swear, all this grilling is making me envious.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Tonight I am pleased with myself for having gone to a birthday party where I knew only the birthday girl and (kind of) her husband. It was a good enough time, too!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Jesse! If I want to PayPal $ to you for the board, should I use your profile address?

(I have a post-it on my laptop to remind me, and it keeps falling off, at which point I put it on the side table, until it clicks that it's a reminder post-it, and then I put it back on the laptop, and it falls off, etc. So while I'm currently remembering, I thought I'd ask you.)
