Deconstructing the User/Machine Dynamic
Hey, my library school has a class called Human-Computer Interaction.
Word Processing for the Non-Major
aka Writers Block for Jocks ?
aka Writers Block for Jocks ?
You got it!
(I took Acting for the Non-Major in college.)
So did I! It was taught by a priest who had been in Blues Brothers (he was one of the two guards escorting John Belushi to his release from prison in the beginning of the movie, so we chatted about Joliet that semester), and was very fun. That's the class where I had my best acting moment ever, where I did something totally improv that I don't even remember deciding to do, but got a big round of applause from not only the teacher, but from those acting majors who were watching from the hall.
My Acting for the Non-Major class had a teacher we all loathed, so we all bonded in our hatred. We tried to plan a way to make her disappear, but decided that Oxford, OH, was too small a town for the body to remain undiscovered.
Whenever I see a title "for the Non-Major", some part of my brain always says, "So it's just for the enlisted folks? Why not just say that--oh, wait."
And now I need to know how your tapes do, Jesse!
I haven't put those up, but a quick search shows some of the sets for sale, and pretty cheap, so it may not be worth bothering.
When I saw this I was wondering if it was an Onion headline:
