Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Am I the only one who finds VHS more reliable than DVDs? Sure, the quality ain't as great, but most of my DVDs are starting making problem after 6-12 months. And that's with several DVD players experience.

incorporating them into my living room design scheme.

Oh, lords of interior design porn. I wanna a. move in, b. go back in time and make sure Baudrillard will see this before writing his doctoral thesis, c. fuck a., when can you come here and design my apartment for me?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Thanks msbelle. I do have time to myself finally again this weekend, because theatre is over for the year. For those of you who did not know... msbelle is wise.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That's... odd. Are you talking about DVDs you recorded?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm really pleased with myself for having bagged up the many shoes I haven't worn in years, even if the bags haven't made it out of my house yet. And even though all of the shoes were living in the bottom of my closet, so I never really saw them. Progress!

I wonder if anyone on eBay would want to buy my Buffy VHS tapes? I am also super excited about having listed two things for sale on eBay, even though it's only two, and only one has a bid. The auctions end in a couple of hours, and each has several people watching, so I have hopes...

I was just reading some of the job descriptions at my uni, and one of them (an Admin Asst position, because colleges are weird) asks for either a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of "secretarial or word processing studies" and equivalent experience. You can get a 2 year degree in "word processing studies"???

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

The Buffistas are all over eBay this week, aren't we?

I've got two things up right now (a rare Sally from Nightmare and an old McSweeney's), and even though they don't end for another 4 days and change I can't stop hovering.

And now I need to know how your tapes do, Jesse!

The only VHS tape I really need to keep is the unaired Buffy pilot with the Wrong Willow. Except I can't even find it right now amongst all the clutter. I suspect it's in one of the boxes in my dad's basement.

I keep wanting to come up with a Word Processing Theory & Cognition course that has something to do with spellcheck and prescriptivism vs. descriptivism, but my brain is not cooperating. Think of something witty; pretend I said it.
