Another thing about the adoption thing -- I bet it SAVES the federal government a whole lot more than four weeks salary when an orphan gets adopted or a foster child gets homed, at least in the long run.

So my mother got her Mother's Day present. And opened it. Loved it, but now she's disappointed because, and I quote, "I thought there was going to be another box coming."
