I am watching the cats-- we got a crate and barrel box yesterday and they went INSANE for the packing material. They've been playing with it pretty much since about 9 last night with violent glee. They've never been this interested in anything else in their lives. So the stretchy diamond-perforated paper: Recommended!

I'm doing actual work while listening, oddly enough, to Scandinavian goth metal.
Boxes are so awesome to cats. It's so cute!
I don't have many dog and box stories except for the time our beagle got his head stuck in a box and then ran around bumping into things.
Per my cat, nothing is more fun than a plastic bag. Unless it's a rubber band. I'll put plastic bags on the floor for him to play with, until I get paranoid he's going to suffocate himself. ("THIS BAG IS NOT A TOY")
Also, I'm semi-working, and generally surly today.
I am at work, on the desk, chipper except for stressing out about my hair.
Stuff my cats love: 1. Boxes. 2. paper bags. 3. Plastic bags. 4. The little plastic milk tabs that you take off a new plastic jug of milk.
Stuff mu cats have to protect us from: 1. The bathrobe sashes. 2. Shadows. 3. The noises outside.
On that note, I need to share my beloved Catbank
I'm making lists and revising a manuscript.
Stuff my cat loves: scratching at TV and computer screens; the plastic collar on B&J pints; chip bag plastic (thicker to resist cat teeth); her kitty crack pad; her scratching board that I took off the chair arm and now just leave on the dining room floor, where she'll attack it indiscriminately.
Stuff my cat has to protect me against: the evil birds and squirrels in the tree and, occasionally, on the balcony.
Things my dog loves: 1. dirty socks. 2. used tissues 3. worms.
She's adorable, but her choices remind me she's all dog.
