I can't be the only one who would have sent them home bald as cue balls and said "Problem solved!," can I?
Yeah, but that's punishing kids for something their idiot mother is a fault for. They're 8 & 10 so bald really wouldn't be fair.
I don't think my niece should be ashamed of the lice--it happens with kids. But to not keep her kids home until she knew the infestation was gone is unconscionable when you consider they could pass it to my sister, her husband and her stepson.
Oh, I think 8 and 10 are perfect ages to be bald for a little.
that menu made me hungry Liese
The boy might be ok with it, but I doubt an 8 year old girl would go for it, ita.
I'm eating a glazed donut and watching the Templars get their asses kicked at the Horns of Hattin.
Now I want a donut.
I am way to susceptible to food suggestions for someone wearing only a bathrobe.

I'm probably just projecting.

You should come over. I have leftovers.

Hee. I know as an 8 year old girl I would have totally gone for the bald, lice or no lice. Instead I had a little Japanese doll haircut.
Man. Huge lollipops are hard to lick. But I'm doing my best.
Also, my mom signed up for the Israeli field hospital that the gov is gonna start (tomorrow?) for the Gazans. Nothing official yet, but I'm so fucking proud.

Oh! I would love that. Except my hair is all fine flyaway and it would never work.

Shir, that's really cool.
So, I got to BWI last night early and I hung around until the other person who was flying in got there too. Our cab? $135! Is that not insane?
Things are all fluid and up in the air. I'm taking this entire week as an invitation to practice flexibility and patience. It's the only approach I can take without wanting to strangle people.
Schedule today? 8:30 AM - teach workshop. Then we have monument visits which may or may not work. Then a trip to the Jefferson Memorial. Then the concert (ugh cold). Then more workshop time. yay! I'm pretty excited.
