oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I read a bunch of the comments in the newspaper about the new flu. Now , I expected the crazy m racist, political , and stupid. It does make me wonder how bad you have to be for the people at sfgate to take your comment off.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Did everybody notice that the Google front page is in Morse Code?

I have complimentary dialup. It's a bitch to get the right number to call (I had to call 4 different ones) but at least I have some semblance of internets.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"Complimentary dialup" almost sounds like a contradiction in terms.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Not a contradiction. If it is a free call, and they don't charge for using it, the it is indeed "complimentary" - i.e. free, though slow.

It's either that or no internet. So.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hooray for the internets in Your House, Sara!!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The internet is a big part of feeling in the right place, even if it is dialup.

I have a sudden and strong craving for oatmeal cookies. Too lazy to bake, and too cheap to buy, though. That'll larn me.
