It's not like she blew me off. She just left with another guy, that's all.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I haven't heard of "beast mode" before. It's cute.

I suspect it's from a video game, but it could just be local to his middle school for all I know. Sometimes he just abbreviates it to "beastie" as in "Tim Lincecum is beastie."

hip deep in pie

It's a weird picture - the small guy makes the cat look huge.

Dude, I so do not like the odds of being so close in size with a cat. I am sure there have been times where being so much bigger than my cats is the only thing that has kept them from killing me for food.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I suspect it's from a video game

Transformers: Beast Wars. I thought you followed the toons!

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Pelecanos people sometimes say "(Sports Dude) is beast!" or "Sports Dude is a beast."

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So I suppose "beastie" has nothing to do with the usage in "Vally Girl"?

Anyway, he goes are you into s and m?
I go, oh right...
Could you like just picture me in like a leather teddy
Yeah right, hurt me, hurt me...
Im sure! no way!
He was like freaking me out...
He called me a beastie...
Thats cuz like he was totally blitzed

Im sure!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Dana, thanks for the offer, but Land's End doesn't go up to my size, unfortunately.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Whereas now that people know what to look out for, and patients are getting early intervention and support, it should be much more survivable than the initial presentation.

Although, someone I just had a meeting with was saying she had heard that if you feel sick, you should stay home! To avoid getting on the subway, etc.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Gotcha. I vote for the purple, by the way. The blue and white does look very nautical, but the purple looks like more fun.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Although, someone I just had a meeting with was saying she had heard that if you feel sick, you should stay home! To avoid getting on the subway, etc.

That's good advice whether or not you have swine flu, though.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ah, the Transformers. That was in my eighties blindspot along with all references to Cobra Commander.
