And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I haven't sat down in a subway station since that story came out about bedbugs living in the wooden benches.

I am not clicking on that. I'm already itchy just from thinking about it!

Also, I have a shitload of work to get done today, and really no interest in doing it.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I was eaten alive by bedbugs in a cheap motel-type setup in Dublin once. They do quite nasty things to limbs if you respond badly to their bites. (It was also so cold that we had to turn on the shower to steam up the room. This was mainly because it was summer, with no central heating despite the icy horizontal rain. Ah, Dublin.)

hwæt

There's an exterminator that advertises on cable in NY that uses a DOG to sniff out the bedbugs, which he then freezes to death.

Gudanov, both. I was once a committed lurker, and recently realised I'd missed the goings-on here. Also that pressing the 'post' button was not going to destroy the universe. Probably.
