Dana try Chico's. They have the travel knits that my MIL swears by-- says they're fantastic for washing and air-drying.

Oh, and I haven't gloated about this here. My ticket to my final destination (which involves three connections, because I now live in Bumfuck) is FIRST-CLASS, BABY.
Yeah, teh Travelers stuff by Chico's is good too. I just get tired of knits when I travel.
I just found out my friend is like BFFs with Phil Keoghan (of The Amazing Race fame, for anyone who doesn't know), because she works for the MS Society, and he's doing this Bike Across America (or something) thing for them. Apparently he's as awesome as you'd imagine.
!!! I'd read about the biking thing which I LOVE of course!
I can't believe I missed it on Facebook. Stupid people I'm not really friends with who post a million things that push the things I want to see off the page!
Also, I heard incredible high-school-people gossip. Crazy.
I'm going to Europe in July, and I'm probably going to want to buy at least one new pair of pants for traveling. What are your recommendations for sites that sell travel clothes (in women's plus-size)?
Dana, for Thailand I did a ton of research on this. Because of the weather in Thailand I wanted to be careful to get pants with a quick-drying fabric, and an anti-bacterial finish to avoid the supposed smell of high-tech fabrics. As it turned out they dried fairly fine but I never noticed any smell whether they had a finish or not. So I recommend any nylon travel pants. REI (and the online outlet) and Sierra Trading Post are good places to shop. I bought ex officio, REI and North Face pants. Ex officio has a great selection of high tech fabrics but their fit is mom-jeansy, and they are expensive. North Face's fit is better. REI was cheapest and performed the same. I also got several quick-drying/anti-microbial shirts from ex officio which I can recommend -- they were on sale in December. Anyway, the answer you are probably looking for is sierra trading post's site.
Thanks!
I just pulled out my box of yearbooks and discovered that my K-6 class photos are in a Star Wars folder. And I drew a mustache on the same kid in the Kindergarten and 1st grade photos.
eta: And 3rd grade. I'm so ashamed.
Dana, where are you heading? Need a bed in central(-ish) Europe? We also have a washing machine....
