It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I'm going to Europe in July, and I'm probably going to want to buy at least one new pair of pants for traveling. What are your recommendations for sites that sell travel clothes (in women's plus-size)?

Dana, for Thailand I did a ton of research on this. Because of the weather in Thailand I wanted to be careful to get pants with a quick-drying fabric, and an anti-bacterial finish to avoid the supposed smell of high-tech fabrics. As it turned out they dried fairly fine but I never noticed any smell whether they had a finish or not. So I recommend any nylon travel pants. REI (and the online outlet) and Sierra Trading Post are good places to shop. I bought ex officio, REI and North Face pants. Ex officio has a great selection of high tech fabrics but their fit is mom-jeansy, and they are expensive. North Face's fit is better. REI was cheapest and performed the same. I also got several quick-drying/anti-microbial shirts from ex officio which I can recommend -- they were on sale in December. Anyway, the answer you are probably looking for is sierra trading post's site.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Thanks!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I just pulled out my box of yearbooks and discovered that my K-6 class photos are in a Star Wars folder. And I drew a mustache on the same kid in the Kindergarten and 1st grade photos.

eta: And 3rd grade. I'm so ashamed.

Dana, where are you heading? Need a bed in central(-ish) Europe? We also have a washing machine....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My sister called me nominally to cheer me up, but in the guise of trying to remember with one of my prep school classmates another classmate, Indian guy, name starting with T or P with whom we were in competition. I hope it doesn't turn into yet another facebook ignored invite.

I just don't think my sister should talk to my classmates. I always knew the kids younger than me. I've had cougary tendencies long time.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Clearly, Dana, what you NEED to do is head west to Civilization and the Huge Ass REI for shopping in person.

Note, this is CLEARLY a plot to get you over here.

CLEARLY.

Man, I just checked my account and unexpectedly I had some sort of payment for Mcafee and it means that I only have $13.00 'til next payday! (Next Thursday.)

Frak.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Dana, I got a great pair of black crepe pants at Coldwater Creek. They drip dry overnight beautifully and the crepe means it won't show wrinkles, ever.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

mac was up at 5:15 for his birthday. 8 YEARS OLD!!! How did that happen? Anyway, I demanded more sleep, but it never really gelled, so I am zombie mom.

This morning I am calling in late, the cupcake frosting I was supposed to make last night didn't happen. I didn't have enough powdered sugar. So I'll be doing that after I drop him off for school in 20 min.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've also been happy with REI house brand and ex officio pants, FWIW. And mine have even been used for camping in Baja, so you know they're up to being washed out in a hotel basin.
