Our wings are not tired.

Steph, I was joining in the conversation and making a point to people who aren't familiar with drug development. It wasn't to counter anything anyone had already said. My use of "however" is a general use of it towards John Q. Public.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Okay, that's cool. I was afraid I said something inadvertently wrong or a snide implication or something.

Nope, not at all!

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I'm going to Europe in July, and I'm probably going to want to buy at least one new pair of pants for traveling. What are your recommendations for sites that sell travel clothes (in women's plus-size)?

Dana, if Lane Bryant or one of the other good plus-sized companies sell cotton/5% spandex pants in black, that's a perfect sort of thing to take. It will keep its color, be comfortable even in heat, and look chic or casual depending on what you pair them with.

What about washing and air-drying?

If you're planning ot do a lot of washing and air drying you might want something more thin/light--this kind of thing

(I wouldn't recommend the entirely nylon ones...they're kind of gross, but if you can find the ones that are a mix? or thin cotton that are covered with something?)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG you guys. I just found out my friend is like BFFs with Phil Keoghan (of The Amazing Race fame, for anyone who doesn't know), because she works for the MS Society, and he's doing this Bike Across America (or something) thing for them. Apparently he's as awesome as you'd imagine.

“Not dead yet!”

Dana try Chico's. They have the travel knits that my MIL swears by-- says they're fantastic for washing and air-drying.

Oh, and I haven't gloated about this here. My ticket to my final destination (which involves three connections, because I now live in Bumfuck) is FIRST-CLASS, BABY.
