Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, sara. Thanks, everyone. Just full of whines right now.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm pretty sure this doesn't count as whining.

Damn, ita. I wish I had checked before I left. I was at the medical center from 3-6 with Grace today and I would have gladly sat with you.

Hey, Kat, does Natural Pod take Paypal payments? They say they use credit cards through the PP gateway, but does that mean they take regular PP payments, too? I'm getting ready to order the kids a cardboard rocket and I'd like to use PP.

I think so. I'm pretty sure I paid with paypal. We're moving our rocket outside for teh summer (then to recycling) so we can finally assemble the kitchen.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ugh, the ER totally sucks, ita.

Oh no Kat. Is Grace OK?

Why are my peeps at the hospital today?

Yeah. She's fine. It was a pulmonology appt. She has a genetic marker for CF, so we had to be there for an hour to do a sweat test.

Well I guess it was a good day for sweating. Er.

I recall you mentioning the CF marker before. I hope the test results are good.

Yeah. And she's a sweaty sweaty baby.

Ah well. Headed to bed. I bought the best mother's day present: [link] with a pic of noah and grace.

Grace and Kat missage! Okay, maybe Grace doesn't hang in the ER, and well she shouldn't.

I can't help but read Colin Ferguson marker.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This is cool: The Apache — A 19th Century Personal Protection Gadget

The Apache was a combination dagger, pepperbox, and knuckle duster manufactured and sold in the United States from 1870 through 1900. More pictures and history of this unique pocket weapon at the link.

It's pretty. And can kill people three different ways.

Scrappy, I'm very sorry for your loss.

ita, good luck, I hope the ER helps.

I have heard of two of the restaurants on that top 50 list. But I'm mildly surprised not to see Chez Panisse on it.
