Harmony: Somebody remembered to pick me up the sweetest unicorn. Guess someone was feeling guilty for standing me up in tenth grade. Brad: What? Had to get her something. She sired me. Peaches: Sire-whipped.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

We've secretly replaced Jilli's coffee and sleep meds with LSD. Let's see if she notices...

Honestly? The reason I have never dabbled in hallucinogenics is because I figured I get the same effects from my insomnia. Add in that Ambien has started to mess with my head before knocking me unconscious, and I'm stuck with situations where I make Pete get out of bed to stand guard at the bathroom door because one of the light fixtures has turned into the evil King of the Jellyfish and is out to get me.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I left for the airport, got on the subway, and then I realized I forgot my phone. I had to get off the next stop and go back home. Good thing I left myself a lot of time. I'm at the airport terminal now, just in time.

Liese inspired me. I just emailed the sustainability people at the MTA. I got a ridiculous mailed response to an inquiry from them a few months back, it was like 4 pieces of paper and 2 envelopes and some of the paper was like specialty stock.

Wait - who is getting the Scola?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Which airport?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My sabbath-observant co-worker is on her way out the door (late?), which always makes me feel like my work day is over as well. Also, I turned in my deadline piece already. And cancelled the big project I was supposed to be working on for next Wednesday. I could get started on the next thing, but why bother??

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

So us chronic insomniacs have wide range of fun choices! Hallucinate from sleep deprivation, hallucinate from too much caffeine, or hallucinate from the prescription medication you took in hopes of falling asleep sooner. Awesome!

Truer words.

Add in that Ambien has started to mess with my head before knocking me unconscious

It really is a choice of the lesser evil sometimes. Well, more a roll of the dice.

Art Crawl!!!

They continued our Wind Chill until Midnight because the warmer air hasn't really come through yet AND it's getting windier.

(And yes - the temperature went up to -2.6 and has now fallen to -5 again.)
