Home schooling? You know, it's not just for scary religious people anymore.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Who thought this was a good idea?

A friend who lives in Battery Park City said the plane is docked a block away from their apartment and it's a zoo down there. Of course she's leaving that zoo for DC for the Inauguration.

Oh, amazon. That reminds me of this item.

Reviews for the Playmobil Security Check Point

The reviews are pretty amusing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

People are hilarious. That Chia Obama has got to be a joke, though, right? It's "scheduled" to be released on April Fool's Day.

And I thought Playmobil had broken new ground with teaching kids about to-the-death Gladitatorial contests.

I've recently heard many poo-poohing Magnolia's cupcakes (too dry mostly), but the pumpkin one I just had was just delicioso. Now I will savor the rest of my Blast before having the white cake one with pink icinfg for desert.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What's up? I just skipped a million posts (but I saved them to read on the train). My train leaves in an hour....

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

The last cupcake I had was deeply unsatisfying. I think I need to remedy this.

I'm on break! Early long weekend, because the owner of the music store where we work our second jobs has the store dark this weekend. He's going to NAMM, to look at the pretty pretty new music toys. And our kids have MLKJRDAY off, so yay for long weekend! Today we've declared Seabiscuit day, so we're taking him to the park. Tomorrow D.'s throwing a party, so he's doing prep work for it now. But I am going to be chill, because yay, long weekend.

The point of all that being, I probably have time to bake cupcakes.

What's everybody else doing this weekend?
