This is the same style as my poor porch light, except mine is a pointy pyramid. [link] Mine needs glass and cleaning. I have to look into glaziers. I also have a doorpane to replace (was replaced with PLASTIC! DER. At least I can do that myself, thanks to my dad and years of breaking windows.)
One day, I need to replace the beadboard on the porch roof.
Second Chance Hardware, lisah?
BTW, Habitat's ReStore is having a sale tomorrow.
msbelle, those are neat, but still too too for me.
oh lisa, doing it together (or at least coming up with the ideas) sounds like an awesome project.
sara, just remember that all does not need to be done NOW. light fixtures are really easy to do later, paint, nsm. I continue to kick myself for not doing floors prior to move-in, or even prior to mac.
And the porch pillars fixed and the first floor ceiling surfaces and the basement back door and the porch railings and the death deck and there's a closed off transom on the 2nd floor balcony door and deals on stained glass transoms from England renovs and that front screen door has to go and the back basement door one and I need to make sure the lintels are sealed and the new balcony door painted in what I really believe is exterior paint (got that tonight) and the missing baseboard moulding and baseboards repainted and shelving and pantry in the kitchen and blinds (thinking shutters on at least half of the diningroom windows) and ...
I need to save this list.
Still too much for me. (and the above list is just random and not prioritized.)
And an electrician to wire for washer and dryer.
yeah, that list is not all stuff you need to do now.
but it's good to write it all out so you can start prioritizing!

I know! I'm excited about it!
Man I need to go to bed. So very sleepy and I have to get up super early and do a ton of stuff tomorrow. Including ride 30+ miles. eesh. First I have to cut up my lemon bars. I hope they are good!
