Weekend:
Tonight: Baseball practice.
Saturday: Double header. Against a very good team. We played shitty in our last loss, so I'd be very happy to win at least one game of the double-header.
Sunday: Not play baseball.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I'll be getting my car's oil changed. Sadly, that's not a euphemism for anything. I might sneak a pedicure in there somewhere. This is the first weekend that hasn't been crazy busy in quite a while, so I'm hoping to enjoy the whole lack of stress thing.
Happy Birthday, Sheryl!
Go, Sara!

Weekend : Fri? Sat Birthday -- Aires dinner with the aries women Sun family celebration Mon?
That reminds me that I need to change the oil in my wife's car. I don't think the weather will cooperate. I keep trying to talk my daughter into getting under the car to help me out, but I haven't been able to do it yet.
Tonight, TiVo backlog. Saturday: cleaning house and laundry and going to buy seeds during the day, then to friend's for a board game birthday gathering. Sunday, gardening during the day and to dinner and the movies with other friends.
Happy Birthday Sheryl!
quick question: when one has hired pros for a business move do the movers get tipped?
I've tipped for unexpected difficulties and an unplanned side trip to drop off a sofa that wouldn't fit, but in general I'd say you're paying professionals directly for the service they're providing—no tip required. I don't tip my mechanic or doctor.
Looks like this weekend is a lot of reading. And I'm going to do a review (heh, my first like, since grad school) of a book, the Smart Bitches Beyond Heaving Bosoms: The Smart Bitches' Guide to Romance Novels.
Lord, but it's funny as hell.
Huh. Our Lexis rep brought us nada. Our Westlaw rep brought us cookies, at least, so we were not sugar deprived this week.
The Westlaw business rep brought fancy chocolate, gimme cups, and itunes cards, the Westlaw rep brought cookies and Peet's cards, and the Lexis rep brought cupcakes, umbrellas, mini-flashlights, and weird little containers of M&Ms.
Throw in our Donut day, and I have been very popular this week.
I'm getting ready to join my team for the huge local annual trivia contest. 54 hours straight.
I'm really craving Thai food tonight, so I think I'll place an order before I leave here at my local Thai place, I Am Siam. They've got quite good pad thai and really excellent spring rolls with plum sauce.
