Of course, if you're a resident of Washington DC, a tea party actually makes some sense (DC has only a non-voting representative in Congress).

Thanks, Gud. I wish I knew how to make things turn around.
A link off the turntable kitten page: [link] (NSFW). I always forget she's not that heavily boobed.
The Republicans have had the better part of 20 years to starve the beast and have only proven that they're the party of borrow and spend.
Yeah, I'll all for cutting taxes, but that should come after cutting spending but there is nothing to cut that is really politically viable.
To really cut spending you have to make calls like drastic cuts to military spending, elimination of the federal role in eduction, scaling back health care for the elderly fairly drastically, cutting more people out of medicare, and yucky stuff like that.
The laid-off style thing isn't all that it's cracked up to be. This sucks.
Sucks is right. Ugh.
wonderful looking chipotle/mayo dip for sweet potato fries.
My gym has this little bistro next to it. They make this there! It's fucking awesome. I wish I could send you some.
The tea party at Lafayette Park across from the White House is over. The Secret Service and park police broke up the anti-tax revelry after someone allegedly threw something over the fence toward the White House.
Organizers asked protesters not to give the cops a hard time and the crowd dispersed peacefully.
So soon? I wonder if they got the chance to teabag everyone they wanted to....
I find those nude pics kinda meh. They look like a mediocre art student's class portfolio. Maybe they are supposed to be ironically retro?
If there was ever any soul in those pictures, I'm sure it's been retouched out. Still, if you're a hottie Eliza fan, it's a fix.

Also because it's cold (well, mid to upper 40s, which is pretty cold for this time of year), wet, and rainy in DC today.
I want to throw a proper tea party, complete with cake and watercress sandwiches. We could video-tape ourselves raising our cups and saying things like, "That Obama, he's a pretty good president." "So nice to see some consideration for infrastructure in the budget." "I do hope there's a bit more oversight in the new stimulus bill than in TARP." And we'd all keep our pinkies out.
