Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Extreme Dog Houses

...if you've got an extra $30,000 and wanna buy something stupid for your dog....

Hey, this summer one of lisah's neighbors remarked, after my comment that needing a third litterbox was what drove me over the edge into homebuying,"That's an expensive free kitten."

So I guess you could say that I'm buying a Loki a $148K cat house. Bwahahaha!

For the cat that has everything - a cat house big enough so the cat's human can be kept inside as well....

Jilli, after checking the FAQ, I'm going to say caramel-colored is even less evil than brown, which is apparently only almost evil, so really hardly any evil at all...

She certainly didn't seem very evil, what with the leather mules that were two shades darker than the pants, the fuzzy blue sweater, and the pink leather tote bag.

I'm buying Loki and Devi STAIRS! (And MK baby gates.)

Oh god, I also have to hang lattice so that they can't get into the crawlspace.

I thought I could do this without taking days off, but now I'm thinking no. At least my bosses are all positive about this (I think I'm the only Negative Nabob) so I've got a lot of leeway.

Even if I have more work in the next 29 days than I have time. Uhg.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I also have to hang lattice so that they can't get into the crawlspace.

There's nothing worse than a cat getting into the crawlspace and from there to the roof and hearing them crying in the ceiling and then disappearing over the peak of the house, evoking visions of them ending up stuck in a wall and having to sledgehammer a hole to rescue them...

The good news is this will never happen, and if it does, they always show back up with a "what?" (but only after you've lost hours of sleep because yours sick with worry). But, this will never happen.

The one scary place in the basement is where the garage juts into the house. It's maybe 3 or 4 feet high. ( You can sorta see it here: [link] I.WILL.NOT.GO.IN.THERE. So I know the cats will try. So no basement until I rectify that.

Jilli, was it the cute blonde who recently got her hair cut? I was so busy noticing the stylish new 'do that I failed to notice anything below the neck.

Nope, it was the woman who was directly to the right of you, in the window seat. She had kind of a standard "Rachel" sort of haircut that was aggressively multiple shades of blonde.
