There's more than one way to skin a cat. And I happen to know that's factually true.

ISTR height is determined on the mother's side, so there you go.

Hah! Not in my family....my mom is tall like her dad (her mom is 5'2. She is 5'9. I am short like the women in my dad's family (he is 6'0, but the women in his family are average, 5'5 like me). I think it is heinously unfair that my parents will always be several inches taller than me.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

My brother's two boys take after him (the one in college is already over six feet, and the other is rapidly approaching that point even though he's only 12 years old), but his daughter takes after her mom's side and is only about 5'5".

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I must be wrong about the height thing, because I don't see it in google and it doesn't even sound right anymore.

You guys, I've totally forgotten my timecard password. The one I've used every day for 2 months. And I asked to have it reset and sent to me except now I think they don't have the right email for me.

The holes in my memory are getting worse.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I must be wrong about the height thing, because I don't see it in google and it doesn't even sound right anymore.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Studies show that we are forgetful before a move and for about six weeks or so afterwards, so I was told by a psychologist once. It's the whole discombobulation thing. Just expect it, because there's no way to avoid it and nothing you can do about it.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Lillian!

Hmmm, my mom was 5'1.5 at her tallest, and my dad was 5'10 at his tallest.(Both have shrunk with age, alas) I'm 5'2" or 5'3" depending on the measuring device and my brother is close to 6 feet tall. (And I'm the one who ate all my vegetables growing up. Not fair!)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There's a weird OJ ad with Kyra Sedgwick dancing that has cuts that make it look like it's not her half the time (no way she did those splits and they hid her face). Why her?

information libertarian

I saw that ad yesterday. Not only was I all "Kyra Sedgwick has sunk to doing Tropicana ads?" but also, it's an ad for low-calorie, low-sugar orange juice. Which I find deeply bizarre.
