I washed my windows yesterday and I'm finding myself startled every time I glance that way. The world outside is so clear!

I was going to go climbing tonight but I'm too sleepy/lazy/tired to drive into the city to meet people. So I think I will file paperwork and watch SCC.
Man, am I boring as hell.
Tomorrow I will probably make bread or a cake or pie for Easter dinner on Sunday. And run the dog. Might go see Duplicity.
Sunday is Easter, so I'll go to church and hang with the family.
I am in Cape Breton. I stayed up until 3:30 cleaning my apartment and then got up at 7:30 to pack. I am so tired now I can barely sit up. I am trying to stay up until at least ten, but it's going to be tricky.
I saw at least four bald eagles on the bus ride up. I also dozed off up at one point and woke myself with a very loud snore/snort. It would have been extremely embaraassing if I hadn't been so tired.
Oh man, FNL: Julie's feelings about leaving for college, absent the relationship stuff? Oh, I remember that. I remember standing on a stepladder, pulling stuffed animals off the ledge and tossing them into boxes and sobbing to my mom that this was good and I'm so looking forward to leaving this town so why am I crying ?
Mister Kitty is getting really creaky. I don't think it is the diabetes; I think it is 16. He's still happy, but he's looking and moving his age.
FNL: Oh TYRA! Finally!
WANT MORE FNL!
All my tp is packed and I don't want to go digging.
Can't wait to see FNL based on the whitefont. I thought last week was really crushing and sad, not the stupid McCoy Family Stuff but the game itself. and of course the completely beautiful Tyra figuring out her voice part.
FNL has really been hitting it out of the park (to totally mix metaphors) for me this season. I think first the amazing convo between Julie and Tami regarding the sex was exactly the way I'd hope to have that convo if I ever have to have it and then the Tyra explaining who she is bit.
Both have been really solid.
They really have nailed down some of the teen-parent/authority stuff accurately. As in, it was very much a recall to the weird convos I had with my parents at that age. I can easily forgive the actors often looking too old because of it.
Oh, man, FNL knocked it out of the park tonight. I totally didn't know what to expect after last week, where they lost State.
Moving to five months later (or more likely six--it must be June, yeah?) was a brilliant move. Also, Eric going to East Dillon? Gives us a reset button that really works for me. I had been complaining that I didn't care about JD McCoy and his rich white boy angst, and now I don't have to.
We'll get a whole new cast of high school kids and Eric will have to work with them, and that's what he's good at. He's good at working with the scrappy kids, the underdogs, not the kids with all the privileges.
Also, we'll get a built-in rivalry with Dillon High. This is even better than Arnett-Meade. I love it.
Also? I love Tyra and Landry, and omg Tami and Eric are the Best Married People Ever on Television. ::loves::
